I’m Viakel Araujo, a music and marketing professional who’s always been driven by storytelling and connection. My journey started as a One Direction fan on Twitter, where I learned the power of community and how meaningful entertainment can be. Since then, I’ve earned a Master’s in Music Management and Production and worked in music publishing, marketing, and live media with teams like Warner Chappell Music, Grass Fed Music, and 88.9FM WDNA.

My Journey

was born.
I stayed up for every release, live-tweeted award shows, and built a fan account of over 10,000 followers by 13 through genuine connection and creativity.
I started my journey as a music fan running a One Direction Twitter account.
2012
That experience sparked my interest in marketing and storytelling.
2016

I studied Marketing and International Business, learning how brands and artists connect with audiences through strategy and emotion.
2022
I started my Master’s in Music Management and Production, which helped me understand the business and creative sides of the music industry.
I joined 88.9FM WDNA, where I worked on live shows and video streaming, gaining hands-on experience in broadcasting and production.
I joined Grass Fed Music, where I managed social media strategies, planned content rollouts, tracked analytics, and engaged with fans to help independent artists grow their online presence.

I’m a committed, dedicated, and passionate person who puts genuine effort into everything I do. I’ve built experience across music publishing, marketing, and creative production, working with teams like Warner Chappell Music, Grass Fed Music, and 88.9FM WDNA. Each role has taught me something different, from organizing large-scale projects and song camps to developing social media strategies and helping artists connect with their audiences.
I’m very open-minded and always ready to learn something new. I pick things up quickly and enjoy taking on challenges that push me to grow, whether that’s learning new tools, adapting to a fast-paced environment, or stepping into unfamiliar territory. I’m kind, collaborative, and easy to work with because I believe the best ideas come from teamwork and listening to others.
Most importantly, I’m open to wherever the next opportunity takes me. I’m excited to keep building my career in music and media, keep learning, and keep finding new ways to tell stories that connect with people. p.s. I can totally keep my cool around high-profile talent (most of the time).
